So yesterday was my birthday. I turned twenty-two. Pallas is over, hanging with my cat, Dragon. I planned to have a few friends over, play video games and just nerd it up. Unfortunately, no one showed. But whatever, right? It's just a birthday. I'm going to get older whether I have fun or not.

I start college the week after next, I'm very excited. Art school. Maybe my work will actually become good, eh? Well. that's all for now. Ja, ne, Minna!

I know, you thought the worst place to be with someone you like is THE FRIEND ZONE.

WRONG.

The worst place to be is THE LITTLE SISTER ZONE. Once a guy see's you in a 'Little Sister' light, you're trapped. A friend can cross the line at any time if they've got the balls. but as a little sister, you have to wait for THEM to get over it.

AND IT PISSES ME OFF.

Okay, was that guy out of his mind? I'd love to push him down a flight of stairs. I'd rather never have loved at all than to feel what I felt the other day.

In case you haven't guessed yet, I was dumped. Yeah. It was harsh too. Okay, set scene.

Jigsaws Coffee Shop, approximately three or four pm. A friend of mine is taking me out for a cup of coffee and we're sitting outside in the smoking section. Just talking. The day's been pretty good so far, really.

And ACTION . . . .

Roy, my boyfriend, comes around the corner. I haven't seen him a little while because he's apparently been avoiding me. But I missed him. I'm happy to see him, so I call out, "Hey, Roy!"

He looks over and sees me, and walks over. Before I can even say how are you, he drops the bomb. IT went kind of like this.

"Hey, Roy! How--"

"Uroki, listen. I'm just not feeling it anymore. Sorry. I'll see you around."

Then he walks off down the street, leaving me with this big sharp spear right through my heart, in the middle of the Smoking Section at Jigsaws.

That was last thursday. Today is Tuesday, and I've been crying my eyes out all weekend. Now, keep in mind, I'm the tough one. I don't cry, I don't scream. I don't lose it. I generally don't even get too pissed.

But I'm losing it now. Ever been hit by a mallet? That's what it felt like. And I didn't see it coming. Not at all. I should have, now I look back I see all the signs. But then I didn't. So on top of feeling stabbed, I feel stupid.

And I'm left with all these questions.

Am I so boring that someone can just decide I'm not worth it just like that? Am I so easy to toss aside like last summers clothes? Am I just boring? Is there something wrong with me? Why? Why? Why?

To hell with it. To hell with Roy, Love, Dating, Men, Romance, and everything to do with it. I'm done, it's over. It's not worth the pain.

So, whoever said Tis Better to have loved and lost than to never love at all, FUCK YOU RIGHT TO HELL.

Jesse, I'd have to say. She can be motherly and loving, or tough as nails. Loyal, brave, and slightly egotistical, she takes the world by storm!

Ghost, probably. she's too jittery and erratic.

Avatar, who is the subject of my first ever graphic novel!

Umm, all my male OC's are gay.

Ironically, the thirrd OC on my list, Ghost, watched her baby brother get crushed by a falling staircase as their house burnt down. She'd probably freeze up or start screaming.

I wish I'd put more thought into Ghost's background and the way I developed her.

well, Kyoko is a mother, her son Kyoya turned six yesterday, lol.

Jesse, because she's been in jail several times already. Detective sakuraba would do anything to put her behind bars for good.

Cadence? He avoids work like the plague, my friend.

Not so much a catch phrase as an oft repeated refrain, "You don't respect me." Would have to be it. His lover, his son, and his nieces and nephews often treat him like a stubborn child, despite the fact that he is nearly five millenia old, and, well, he acts like one sometimes.

13) Do all your OCs live together or are they separated?
Are you kidding me? They live in different WORLDS. It's better that way.

Not in my list, no. All counterparts to my characters are usually played by Pallas, or in Ghost's case, Beastfire.

15) Your seventh OC switched bodies with you for a day! How will they react at the end of the day?
Great merciful mother! At the end of the day I'd find myself in China! Liam has a wanderlust and no sense of direction. Please don't switch our bodies.

Cadence? He'd just be like, Dude, puberty? WTF?

Jesse grew up in Domino and as far as she remembers, which isn't more than five years back (Car accident, amnesia) she hasn't been to the mountains or the beach.

Tsukito? Has he ever even SEEN a shark? He lives in Domino, Japan, so I doubt it. But he might, if it was coming after Jesse, Geoff, or Jou.

None of them. The only ones who even know each other are like father and son.

Hey, these things are hard to come up with, okay?

So I went to my interview at Selkirk College, for the Media Arts course I'm taking in the fall. And it just happened to be with one of my former High School teachers. A woman I respect in this field more than anyone. She's strict, has high standards, and, yeah, terrifies me.

But, I was accepted, likely because I really wanted to do it. And I walked away on jelly legs, even worse than when I went in. Because she complimented my work. This teacher does NOT, under any circumstances, EVER give unnecessary praise.

But still, scary. It still hasn't quite set in that it's over, that I made it. But I guess it probably won't until I walk in for orientation.

Also, I'll be the first in my family to go to college. Which will be kind of cool, since, with more siblings than I can count, it's difficult to be first in anything.
